THOMAS EDISON RIVERWALK
On a sunny afternoon, the 1-mile long riverwalk will be full of people fishing, running, roller blading, scuba diving, picnicking, and taking pictures with the breath-taking view of the Bluewater Bridge in the background as freighters pass. The riverwalk passes through numerous parks that include benches, gazebos, picnic areas, playground equipment, restrooms, and drinking fountains. Learn about local history by visiting the Thomas Edison Depot Museum and Huron Lightship Museum or pop into the Blue Water Area Convention and Visitor Bureau to discover what else is happing in the area.
Option to extend your trip 1-mile to the south, by following the riverwalk all the way to Black River. Along the Black River you will find many dining and shopping options in the historic downtown.
