FORT GRATIOT BIKE RIDE

For an easy 5-mile ride visit Fort Gratiot. The wide paved trail passes through the Fort Gratiot Nature Preserve and circles around the Kettlewell Pond, terminating at Fort Gratiot School at the west end. This area is one of the best birding spots in the Blue Water Area and is home to many species of waterfowl, birds of prey, and migrating birds in the spring and fall.

Option to extend your trip east of Kettlewell Pond, toward the Fort Gratiot Meijer, where you will find plenty of shopping and dining options along 24th Ave (M-25) commercial corridor.

Parking and Trail Access

McIntyre Park – 4778 Parker Road, Fort Gratiot Twp, MI 48059
Access the parking lot Parker Road south of Carrigan Road. McIntyre Park features sheltered picnic tables, benches and playground equipment.

Parking is also available at the south end parking lot of the Fort Gratiot Meijer store accessible from 24th Avenue (M-25).
